The NRL's $5 pie and soft drink deal will return for the Roosters v Bulldogs Telstra Premiership Finals clash at Allianz Stadium this Friday night.

"The feedback from the fans was terrific, so we've decided to extend the offer to this weekend's match," NRL Head of Football Todd Greenberg said.

"After a record crowd for the first weekend of Finals action, we want as many fans as possible to get along to see this sudden death clash between the Roosters and the Bulldogs.

"The combination of ticket prices from $20, including train travel and shuttle bus from Central with the $5 pie and soft drink meal deal, means it's very affordable for the family to go to the footy."

Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust Chief Executive Jamie Barkley said the pie and drink offer was a huge hit with footy fans last weekend.

"We're delighted to again partner with the NRL to provide it for this Friday's match at Allianz Stadium," he said.

"We saw two great games and two great crowds last weekend and we're expecting more of the same on Friday night when the next chapter of one of Rugby League's great rivalries unfolds."

The $5 pie and soft drink deal is available in the Sydney Live Plaza area outside the southern end of Allianz Stadium right up until kick off – not at the food and beverage outlets inside the ground.
