94. Game Three, 1989: Kerrod Walters produces a stunning performance as Queensland sweep the series for the second year in a row

Kerrod Walters entered the history books as Man of the Match in Game 3, 1989 as the Maroons swept the series with a convincing 36-16 win over their New South Wales counterparts. Walters had a hand in four of the Maroons tries including scoring one himself after a Wally Lewis grubber allowed the hooker to capitalise on New South Wales fullback Garry Jack's mistake in-goal. Walters try took the Maroons lead out to eight points and they never looked back from there.
