Next year's City versus Country Origin clash will be contested at Port Macquarie's Regional Stadium.

The annual NSW State of Origin trial will be played on May 7, the same night that Australia play New Zealand to open Melbourne's new rectangular football stadium.

Laurie Daley's Country side will head into camp on the NSW mid-north coast on Monday, May 3.
