Rugby league fans can watch some of the best players in NSW face off for as little as $10 in the 2015 AAMI Country v City, which will be held in Wagga Wagga.
Tickets for the general public went on sale today for the annual clash, which will be held at McDonalds Park on May 3.
NRL Head of Marketing, Content and Digital Lewis Pullen said the AAMI Country v City clash gave supporters the chance to watch some of the best players in the game in a unique and entertaining contest.
"The AAMI Country v City is always competitive and entertaining," Mr Pullen said. "Not only is it an opportunity for the players to play representative rugby league, and potentially set themselves up for higher honours, it is also a chance for us to take the game to regional areas.
"The match showcases the talent in the competition and the fact that our supporters can see those players for as little as $10 for adults, $5 for children and $25 for families means the game is incredible value as well."
CRL Chief Executive Terry Quinn said he was excited to showcase the new facilities at McDonalds Park in the annual match.
"We encourage rugby league fans from throughout the Riverina to get their tickets early and show their support for Representative Rugby League in the bush," Mr Quinn said.
"In the coming weeks, we will be announcing a number of events planned around the 2015 AAMI Country v City match, with both teams taking part in promotions in the lead up to and throughout the week in the area, providing several opportunities for locals to meet their Rugby League heroes."
NSWRL Chief Executive David Trodden said the match would serve as a genuine State of Origin trial for NSW coach Laurie Daley.
"The annual City-Country match remains an integral part of NSW's representative rugby league framework and I know our team, coached by VB Blues legend Brad Fittler, will be desperate to fight for a win and put on a good show for the people of Wagga Wagga," Mr Trodden said. "It should be a great spectacle."
Last year's AAMI Country v City match in Dubbo ended in a thrilling 26-all draw. City Coach Brad Fittler and VB Country Origin Coach Trent Barrett said it would again be an important lead-in match to the Holden State of Origin series.
"It's always an enjoyable week to be a part of and the Country boys love getting out and engaging with the local communities," Mr Barrett said.
"It's fantastic to see games of this standard being played in regional areas and we're looking forward to playing in front of a big country crowd."
Mr Fittler said: "Last year's Origin win has made competition for VB Blues spots fiercer than ever. There'll be some absolute fan favourites and some real cult heroes playing in this match – it will be fantastic."
