1. Billy Slater: Subdued game at the back and hampered by a knee injury that saw him leave the field. Couldn't get a look in on the attacking fun and games. 6
2. Brett Morris: Scored four tries – all in the first half – and was robbed of a fifth after an inexplicable forward pass ruling. Ran for a game-high 183 metres. 8.5
3. Jarryd Hayne: Looked like he had been playing alongside Brett Morris his entire representative career, such was the ease with which he slotted in at right centre. His dazzling footwork and great running lines saw him bag four tries also. Our man of the match. 9.5
4. Greg Inglis: Confused the USA defence by roving from the left side of the field to the right and back again. Impossible to contain, 'GI' punched out a whopping 15 tackle busts, plus three line busts, two try assists and two line-break assists. 9
5. Darius Boyd: Like Slater, appeared not to have been sent an invitation to the party. Incredibly the winger missed out on a try despite the Kangaroos notching 12 overall. Zero tackle busts. 6
6. Johnathan Thurston: Ran the ball strongly and set up his supports well. Had only a fair afternoon with the boot, converting seven of 12 tries. 8
7. Cooper Cronk: With all the action occurring out wide he tried hard to get into the groove of the game – sometimes too hard. 7
8. Matt Scott: Excellent go-forward yielded 15 runs for 154 metres and six tackle busts. 8.5
9. Cameron Smith: Scored a first-half try and was his usual scheming presence. 8
10. James Tamou: Chimed in with 14 hit-ups but was mostly contained. 7
11. Greg Bird: Lifted in the second half and was a threat down the left edge. Ran 12 times. 7.5
12. Sam Thaiday: Carted the ball (10 hit-ups) with enthusiasm and purpose and made 22 tackles. Polished display. 8
13. Paul Gallen: Possibly hampered by a leg strain he was nonetheless solid in the middle, with 11 hit-ups and 20 tackles. 7.5
14. Daly Cherry-Evans: Made an impact off the bench and would have scored a try but for being offside at a play-the-ball. 7
15. Josh Papalli: Wasn't required to do a lot. Made six hit-ups and 56 metres in limited game time. 6
16. Andrew Fifita: The USA defence did their homework on the big guy, restricting him to just three tackle busts. Still managed 112 metres. 7
17. Corey Parker: Thrived given the open nature of the clash. His flick pass for Hayne to score his fourth try was pure magic. Finished with a game-high three offloads and two line-break assists. 8.5
USA
1. Kristian Freed: Safe under the high kick and also cleaning up grubbers but his light frame saw him continually driven back when returning the ball. Will have nightmares about waves of Kangaroos running at him for weeks to come. 7
2. Bureta Faraimo: Made one monster hit in defence on Billy Slater early on that was worth the price of admission alone. Notched 98 metres and a team-high three tackle busts. Polished effort. 7.5
3. Taylor Welch: An unenviable assignment marking up on Greg Inglis. Missed six tackles. 5
4. Michael Garvey: Tried hard but given the run-around by Hayne. 6
5. Matt Petersen: Won't have the fondest of memories in his last ever game of rugby league. Just six touches of the football. 6
6. Joseph Paulo: Tried too hard on the big stage, at one point having an 'air swing' at an attacking grubber kick. 6
7. Craig Priestly: Tried hard in defence but had limited options outside him in attack. 6
8. Mark Offerdahl: Stamped his presence with 13 first-half hit-ups for 94 metres before being replaced early in the second half. 7.5
9. Joel Luani: Not a great hooker's game. Didn't run the ball once from dummy-half. 6
10. Eddy Pettybourne: The pick of the Tomahawks, Pettybourne was tireless with 14 runs, 117 metres, a game-high four offloads and 35 tackles. 8.5
11. Clint Newton: Made 20 tackles and two offloads but was left embarrassed when Greg Inglis stepped out of his attempted tackle when seemingly halted. 7
12. Matt Shipway: Made 18 crunching tackles. Needed to do more in attack than his eight runs. 7
13. Danny Howard: A fair effort in defence, making 23 tackles. 6.5
14. Tui Samoa: Tried to spark something off the bench, running the ball from dummy-half on three occasions. 7
15. Roman Hifo: Limited game time. 4
