The Australian Schoolboys have overcome a 12-point half-time deficit to defeat Wigan Warriors Academy 36-18 and continue their unbeaten start to their European tour.

After a comprehensive 86-6 win over a Combined Regional Academies in their first game, the Australians looked in trouble when the Warriors went into the break leading 18-6.

In a sometimes fiery encounter that saw two players sent from the field and another two sin-binned, the junior green and golds rallied to score five unanswered tries in the second half and claim their second win from as many starts in England.

The Australian Schoolboys will take on Leeds Academy on Tuesday in preparation for two matches against RFL England Academy.

The final game of the tour will see the Australian Schoolboys travel to Perpignan to take on a France under-19s team.

Australian Schoolboys 36 (Keenan Yorston 2, Connor Cox, Latrell Mitchell, Nat Butcher, Tyrell Fuimainono tries, Brock Lamb 6 goals) defeated Wigan Academy 18
