Sea Eagles hooker Matt Ballin has hit back at rumours of unrest within Manly's camp, declaring that the Sea Eagles have come to terms with Glenn Stewart's imminent departure.
With reports suggesting the fallout from Manly's decision not to offer Stewart a new contract has continue to upset the playing group, Ballin has moved to allay fears of an exodus at the club, saying that the Sea Eagles are grieving for their lost comrade but moving on with their season.
"It's a very happy place [at Manly]," Ballin told SportsFan.com.au. "We're winning games and everybody is happy off the field as well.
"There is always going to be rumours around players leaving or staying and it is really upsetting that Glenn is leaving, but in the end that's footy and he's realised that and the rest of the club has as well.
"We're just moving on with our footy and doing the best we can while he's still here at the club."
