Brisbane halfback Ben Hunt has become the lynchpin for the Broncos this season as he continually grows for the starting team.

The Broncos have named a strong 18-man squad to travel to England for the World Club Series later this week for their match against English grand finalists Wigan on February 21.

Injured players or those still in rehabilitation from off-season surgery such as Matt Gillett, Jack Reed, Dale Copley, Jarrod Wallace, David Stagg, Corey Oates and Darius Boyd were not considered for the trip.

However off-season recruit Anthony Milford and Test players Ben Hunt, Sam Thaiday, Corey Parker, Alex Glenn, Adam Blair, Justin Hodges and Josh McGuire were all named.
