Luke Brooks in action at Leichhardt Oval in Round 4.

Wests Tigers halfback Luke Brooks has extended his contract with the club for another two years.

The new deal will see Brooks remain with Tigers until at least the end of the 2019 season.

Since making his NRL debut for the club in 2013, the former Dally M Rookie of the Year has played a total of 70 first-grade games in Wests Tigers colours, making his representative debut for the NRL All Stars in 2015.

"I'm definitely excited to be a part of the future at Wests Tigers," the local junior said.

"With the new coach Ivan Cleary coming in, there's a lot of energy around the club and it's exciting to be a part of that.

"I've always been at the club and I love this club, so I think that made it a lot easier for me to stay here. I've played for a few years now and I really want to step up and take control of this team."
