Aiden Tolman celebrates his try against the Broncos in Round 22.

The Bulldogs have proved they're not a spent force in 2015 after coming from 10 points down to bite the Broncos 18-16 at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.

Canterbury wasted a number of chances to score in the first half but clicked into gear in the second 40, with tries to Sam Perrett and Josh Morris handing the Dogs an eight-point buffer with 15 minutes left.

A converted try to Corey Parker enabled him to surpass Darren Lockyer's record to become Brisbane's highest points scorer, but the Broncos couldn't pull off victory as the Bulldogs deservedly snapped their four-game losing streak against Brisbane.

David Klemmer (228 metres), Josh Jackson (181 metres) and James Graham (158 metres) led the way for the visitors, who completed 89 per cent of their sets.

Trailing by four points at half-time, a rejuvenated Bulldogs side hit the lead in the 43rd minute when Sam Perrett sidestepped three Bronco defenders to take the score to 12-10.

Both sides traded seven-tackle sets midway through the second half before a knee injury to Bulldogs hooker Michael Lichaa halted play for several minutes.

The pause in proceedings failed to halt the Bulldogs' momentum and they soon extended their lead to eight when Josh Morris found the chalk with 15 minutes to go.

The Broncos refused to lie down and managed to cut Canterbury's advantage down to two points when Parker converted his own try to take him past Lockyer's record for most points for the Brisbane club.

Anthony Milford appeared to hand Brisbane another four-pointer with eight minutes left on the clock but the Broncos five-eighth was denied by the video referee after Lachlan Maranta knocked on in the lead-up.

However, the Bulldogs managed to hold their slender lead to record their 10th win of the season which sees them move up the seventh on the Telstra Premiership ladder.

The Broncos opened the scoring in the seventh minute after receiving consecutive penalties deep in Canterbury's territory.

Brisbane's decision to ignore two easy shots at goal paid dividends when a sweeping backline move targeting the Bulldogs' right edge resulted in Milford delivering a lovely cut-out ball to Corey Oates who strolled over in the corner.

Canterbury's first opportunity came in the 16th minute when a line break by Josh Jackson resulted in Josh Morris being pulled down inches short of the try line by Justin Hodges.

While the Bulldogs failed to take their chances, the Broncos made no mistake with theirs and soon scored again when Milford and Darius Boyd combined to send Oates over for his second try.

Hodges and Josh Morris renewed their running battle just shy of the half-hour mark when the Broncos skipper was placed on report for a high shot on his opposite number.

Canterbury finally capitalised on some healthy field position and opened their account when Aiden Tolman crashed over next to the posts.

The competition leaders managed to hold out a late flurry of attack by the Bulldogs to maintain their 10-6 advantage at half-time.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 18 (Aiden Tolman, Sam Perrett, Josh Morris tries; Trent Hodkinson 3 goals) defeated Brisbane Broncos 16 (Corey Oates 2, Corey Parker tries; Parker 2 goals) at Suncorp Stadium. Crowd: 34,082. Half-time: Broncos 10-6. On Report: Justin Hodges (Broncos).
