Daly-Cherry Evans is a goofball, a fiercely dedicated family man, popular with teammates and a magnet for sponsors.
That's the personality profile that can be gleamed from his Instagram account at least.
While speaking on Sterlo: On The Couch on Fox Sports on Wednesday night the departing Manly No.7 detailed the positive response from fellow Sea Eagles players to his announcement that he was leaving the club, the drugs drama that almost cost the Titans and why the Sharks were desperately unlucky to miss out on his signature.

As the hottest property on the NRL open market for season 2016 the attention surrounding Cherry-Evans's playing future was never going to be a private matter but the Queensland and Test representative has received widespread criticism for the public way in which his negotiations played out.
"There's not a part of me that doesn't feel a little bit embarrassed by being in the media spotlight," Cherry-Evans told Peter Sterling. "It's definitely not a situation I wanted to be in; I can guarantee you that I didn't personally call the media to be there.
"I've been trying to do it in my own time with the respect of my teammates at mind and that was a very unfortunate situation that I can't change but I know in myself that I've done nothing wrong.
"I can only hope that I haven't offended my teammates. Fortunately for me I've been reassured that that hasn't been the case."
The suggestion that he was "offside" with members of the Sea Eagles playing group was met with confusion, Cherry-Evans describing it as a "common misconception".
"I got so much respect and support from my teammates through not only this decision but in previous times with the club where things aren't going well," he said.
"I don't know where it's coming from; surely you couldn't think it was coming from inside the playing group because on a day-to-day basis I got along with everyone so well.
"It's quite confusing where it all comes from and where it all stems from."
But back to that Instagram account.
If he's not wrestling with wildlife, goofing around with his two young children Navi and Harvie or posing with wife Vessa at various functions Cherry-Evans is surrounded by teammates – club, state and national – all with beaming smiles. South Sydney captain Greg Inglis pops up in six of them alone.
There's a willingness to poke fun at himself in all manner of scenarios but at the heart of his decision to sign a four-year deal with the Titans and leave the club which had been his home for the past seven seasons was family.
"I felt it was the best fit for me and my family to continue to be happy. That was the main category of sitting down and weighing up my options, was happiness with my family, and I feel as though the Titans ticked that box," said the Redcliffe-born Cherry-Evans. "I can't reiterate enough how important my family's happiness is to me.
"The fact that I could see myself and my family being happy on the Gold Coast and the fact that I could also be close to my mum and dad definitely had a lot to do with it.
"At the end of the day it was only personal preference that it came down to and obviously my personal preference was to be in Queensland closer to home. Unfortunately it wasn't favourable to [the Sharks] but they were definitely in the race."
Titans captain Nate Myles – who himself is off contract at the end of the current season – has been an Origin teammate of Cherry-Evans's for the past two years in each of the 26-year-old's five appearances for Queensland and spoke glowingly of the man for whom the club holds such high hopes for.
"There's only high regard for 'Chez' from me," said Myles. "He's a fantastic dude, a good family man and a terrific footballer so for the club to get him is a great get. I'm very pleased for the club in that regard."
That Cherry-Evans will be a Titan in 2016 comes down to a combination of good luck and good management, unless of course you are a Manly fan.
He had all but agreed to extend his stay at Brookvale in October before new management presented an inferior deal. Then just as the Titans appeared to have their man five current players were caught up in drugs charges by the Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission.
"It definitely spooked me early on," Cherry-Evans said of the revelations in late February. "As soon as it came out I took a step back and thought, What's going on here?
"But as the dust settled we understood there were a few individuals that are involved with it but as a club they're still in a great place to move forward and I feel as though with them moving forward I'd like to be a part of that."
If Daly Cherry-Evans can continue to play the football he has displayed to date and show enough of the man behind the footballer to forge genuine connections with fans then the Titans just may have the man capable of uniting an entire rugby league community.
