We are champions for developing self-respect and social responsibility to encourage inclusion and help build cohesive communities. We speak up against bullying, violence, racism and any other form of discrimination.

Our Respect programs:

Voice Against Violence

As Australia's largest sporting community, the NRL uses its standing in the community as a platform to partner with leading experts to help prevent violence against women and children.

In 2015, the NRL formed a 'Voice Against Violence Coalition', joining forces with leading experts, White Ribbon and Rape & Domestic Violence Services Australia.

Tackle Bullying

NRL Tackle Bullying is a powerful program that aims to empower students to stand up for themselves and others who are being bullied.

With a focus on the role of the bystander and what they can do to help, students are empowered to engage with a five-step model of action represented by the 'Tackle Bullying' hand.

Indigenous Round

The NRL, through its Reconciliation Action Plan, is committed to greater promotion and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within the Game.

A major example of this commitment in action is the NRL Indigenous Round, which highlights the significant contribution that Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander people make to Rugby League both on and off the field.
