The Canberra Raiders have secured the services of the club’s Toyota Cup Captain, with Mitch Cornish re-signing today until the end of the 2015 season.

Cornish is already contracted to the club for next season, however his stellar form in the National Youth Competition has seen the club extend the 19 year olds contract for a further two years.

The halfback is the Toyota Cup competition’s second highest point scorer through eight tries and 50 goals and is in the top four in regards to try assists.

Cornish described the chance to make his first grade debut for the club he has supported for his whole life would be a dream come true.
