Wrestling has become a key component of every NRL team's arsenal as they all look to take control of the ruck and win the play the ball.

While Melbourne are widely regarded as the best wrestlers in the business, NRL Daily host Trent Barrett believes Manly should not try and beat them at their own game if they want to take victory and proceed to the grand final.

“The Sea Eagles will need to throw the ball around and be creative,” says Barrett. “They won’t beat the Storm in a wrestlefest. They need to look to get plenty of second phase ball going.

“They have to watch Cameron Smith out of the ruck. If they can shut him down they will limit the impact of Cooper Cronk and Billy Slater.”

Ex-Manly player John Gibbs believes the key for the Sea Eagles will be the creativity of the edges.

“In a tight game I think it will come down to the entrepreneurial work of players like Glenn Stewart, Tony Williams, and Jamie Lyon,” Gibbs says.
