Samoa were valiant in defeat in their Four Nations opener, narrowly going down to England 32-26.

The St George Illawarra Dragons have announced on Monday that Mose Masoe has agreed to terms on a two-year contract that will see him join the club from next season until at least the end of 2017.

The Samoa international prop, who has been capped seven times, is presently contracted to Super League team St Helens and was part of their Premiership-winning team last season.

Masoe, 26, made his first-grade debut for the Sydney Roosters during the 2010 campaign before joining the Penrith Panthers (2013) and St Helens (2014).
