The St George Illawarra Dragons have advised that National Youth Competition contracted player Addin Fonua-Blake has been stood down from all club activities effective imediately after being charged by police with common assault.

Fonua-Blake has been stood down until further notice for breaching the club's code of conduct. The Dragons have also arranged counselling for the 19-year-old, and the NRL's Integrity Unit has been informed.

"The matter will go to court at the end of this month and with respect to the judicial system, the club will not be making any further comment," the Dragons stated.
