Roosters prop Kane Evans charges forward against the Rabbitohs in Round 1.

Roosters forward Kane Evans has been cited for dangerous contact, the only player charged by the NRL match review committee from the Panthers' win over the Roosters on Monday night.

Evans was charged over an incident in the 58th minute involving Peter Wallace, and despite a previous non-similar offence in the past two years will avoid suspension with an early guilty plea.

Meanwhile, Rabbitohs hooker Damien Cook has taken an early guilty plea for his dangerous throw charge and will be free to face the Warriors in Round 23.
