2010 Provan Summons Award
Congratulations to Todd Carney for securing his first Provan Summons People's Choice Award.
Taking the mantle from 2009 winner Jamie Soward, Carney has been voted the NRL's best player of 2010 by the most important judging panel in the game…. the fans.
Steeped in tradition, the award was inspired by two great men of rugby league - Norm Provan and Arthur Summons who feature prominently on the Telstra Premiership trophy.
Previous winners of the Provan Summons award include:
- Brad Fittler (1997)
- Andrew Johns (1998-2002)
- Darren Lockyer (2004)
- Nathan Hindmarsh (2005-2008)
- Jamie Soward (2009)
