Tohu Harris in action for Melbourne against the Warriors on Anzac Day.

The Melbourne Storm have received a boost ahead of their crunch game against Manly this Saturday, re-signing young prop Tohu Harris for a further three years.

A product of the club's Under 20s system, Harris has missed just one game since debuting for the club in Round 1 last year.

The Kiwi international has played every game this season and has already cemented himself as a vital cog in coach Craig Bellamy's forward rotation.

Harris is averaging almost 23 tackles per game and has recorded 582 hit-up metres for the season (ranked 2nd at the club), stats Storm fans will be able to enjoy seeing until the end of 2017.

"Me and my wife are excited to be here for another three years and we are excited for what is to come in the future," Harris told the Storm website.

"I am just taking it as it comes and trying to work as hard as possible to be the best and do the best I can."

With Harris locked away for a further three years the Storm will now focus on securing the signature of much sort after back-rower Kevin Proctor.

Proctor's management have fielded offers from the Roosters, Dragons, Warriors and Raiders and are meeting Storm officials this week.

A decision on the 25-year-old's future is expected by Friday.

The Storm play the Sea Eagles this Saturday night at AAMI Park.
