Storm forward Tohu Harris is wary of the Wests Tigers ahead of their Round 7 meeting, and said the Storm need to be on their game to come away with the victory.
Melbourne will be looking to bounce back after an 18-12 loss to the Bulldogs on Monday night, but know that the Tigers will present a tough challenge for the Storm, especially at Leichhardt Oval.
"They've been unfortunate to lose some of the games they've been losing, but that doesn’t take away the fact that they're a quality team and they've got a lot of dangerous players, so if you don’t turn up with the right attitude they can certainly make you pay," Harris said.
"They always seem to grown an extra leg at Leichhardt Oval, they're a tough team to play and they've got a lot of dangerous players attacking-wise like [Luke] Brooks and [Mitchell] Moses in the halves and [James] Tedesco at the back, he's a real dangerous player, so we're expecting them to come out really hard."
Despite the Storm's loss on Monday night, Craig Bellamy said that it was one of his side's better performances for the year, and while Harris agreed with his coach, he still admitted there's plenty to work on in attack.
"He (Bellamy) was happy with the way we performed, we did the things that we set out and aimed to do, but we just couldn’t really get there on the scoreboard," Harris said.
"There's a few things that we need to work on and some things aren’t clicking, so we'll need to work on them at training and get them right."
"We know we can be better, and I think everyone knows that but it's a bit hard at the moment, we've had our side shuffled around at the moment a bit and have had different combinations but it's something we're working really hard on at training and we're trying to make some inroads there."
"We know it's there, there are a lot of good signs, we just need to put it all together on the field. It's definitely in us still, and there's a lot of potential there, we just need to make it happen."
Harris has been part of a solid forward pack so far this season for the Storm, and was pleased with the way he and his teammates handled the Bulldogs' big men on Monday night.
"They are a quality forward pack and they’ve got internationals right through there, and with the size they come at you with, to know we can handle that is really confidence boosting," Harris said.
"It's all just a mentality thing, if we can perform like that against them we should be able to do it every week, and that's the aim going forward."
