From taking credit for Brett Stewart’s attempt at playing the underdog tag, to judiciously explaining the NRL salary cap, or generously hosting free tutorials in Journalism: 101, Bulldogs coach Des Hasler was at his mesmerising best when put in front of the camera in 2014.

Whether it was toying with some of rugby league’s most experienced reporters or showing the cadets the ropes, there was never a dull moment when it came to one of the NRL’s most cunning coaches.

And thanks to the wonderful staff at Belmore, here is exactly three minutes and twenty seconds worth of Des Hasler in action. Viewers (mainly aspiring journalists) be warned: make sure you take your notepad (and calculator).
