Gold Coast Titans hooker Nathan Peats in action against the Eels in Round 20.

Titans coach Neil Henry admits he doesn't have the luxury of resting key men Nathan Peats and Tyrone Roberts for Sunday's crucial clash with the Warriors despite Roberts picking up a minor knee injury on Monday night.

Less than 24 hours after the pulsating 18-all draw with the Sharks Henry has turned his attention to the assignment against the Warriors in six days' time with the visitors able to leapfrog the Titans into seventh position should they record a 12th win from their past 13 meetings against Gold Coast.

Peats (hamstring) was rested from Monday's game while Roberts was unable to stay on the field for golden point extra-time due to a knee injury.

Henry said the initial diagnosis was that Roberts had suffered a strain to his posterior cruciate ligament in the back of his knee but was confident the centre would be able to play against the Warriors, naming both he and Peats in his starting team.

"He's quite sore but he's had it before and it settles down quite quickly so it wasn't as bad as we first thought," Henry said of Roberts.

"'Cullo' (Cameron Cullen) has done a good job there before but we'll wait and see. If he responds as quickly as he has done before he'll be right to play."

The inclusion of Peats shapes as a critical one given the recent form of Warriors hooker Issac Luke and the Warriors' ability to play a power game through the middle of the ruck that creates space for their danger men out wide.

Ryan Simpkins and Cullen shared the hooking duties against the Sharks and performed admirably but Henry knows he needs his best possible team on the park for a game with wide-ranging ramifications for the top eight.

"If we were desperate 'Peatsy' could have played [against the Sharks] but he certainly comes into contention this week," Henry said.

"We did a tremendous job to cover for not having Nathan Friend or 'Peatsy' out there to get a point.

"[The Warriors] are confident having had a good win last week, they'll come over here in a positive mindset. They were strong defensively last week and we're going to have to really throw up something to get some points."

The Titans are likely to have only the one ballwork session on Thursday prior to Saturday's captains run with halfback Ashley Taylor also likely to be on restricted duties as he manages an ongoing groin problem.

With Jazz Tevaga out Warriors coach Andrew McFadden has named Nathaniel Roache and Bunty Afoa on an extended bench.
