Following consultation with both clubs and Sunshine Coast Council, the NRL has postponed today's Holden Cup match between Melbourne Storm and Penrith Panthers at the Sunshine Coast due to the state of the playing surface and dangerous weather conditions.
After further review and discussion with both competing teams, the Storm v Panthers Holden Cup match will not go ahead this weekend on the Sunshine Coast.
We will review with both clubs early next week the possibility of rescheduling this match for later in the season.
