With white feather boa and hot pink wig it's NRL superstar Greg Inglis like you have never seen him before.
It wasn't a mad Monday but last Sunday, when Inglis roped in the help of Queensland Origin teammates Billy Slater, Sam Thaiday and Justin Hodges to put smiles on the faces of kids who are due to spend this Christmas in hospital.
Inglis, Slater and Thaiday have only recently returned from an arduous World Cup campaign at the end of a long 2013 season but were more than happy to give up their time to visit children at the Starlight Foundation at the Mater Children's Hospital in Brisbane and spread some Christmas cheer.
The visit was driven by Inglis himself who has become very active in community work since joining the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Christmas eve, 2010.
"When I first went to Sydney I started to do more community work and doing stuff with the kids and one Christmas I got an invitation to go to the Starlight Foundation at Randwick," Inglis tells QRL TV. "The last two to three years I've been doing that and I gave these boys a call and they were more than happy to come and help.
"I'm having Christmas up here this year so decided to come and see these kids and put a smile on their face."
