Veteran Warriors loose forward Micheal Luck is expected to miss up to a month of the 2012 NRL season after undergoing a two-hour operation on his left shoulder on Thursday.

The 29-year-old was booked in for pre-Christmas surgery last week after aggravating his troublesome shoulder in a training session.

Warriors physiotherapist Hamish Craighead said Luck faced a likely 12-week recovery from the operation, meaning he was set to miss most of the first month of the 2012 NRL season.
