Tigers fullback James Tedesco against the Titans in Round 23.

The Sydney Roosters have today announced the marquee signing of the reigning Dally M Fullback of the Year, James Tedesco.

24-year-old Tedesco has signed a four-year deal with the Roosters commencing in 2018.

"James is a tremendously exciting talent whose signature we are pleased to have secured and we look forward to welcoming him to the Roosters in 2018," said Sydney Roosters CEO, Joe Kelly.

Tedesco has played 78 NRL matches to date. He made his State of Origin debut with New South Wales in 2016 and represented NSW City on two occasions (2013, 2015). He has also represented the Prime Minister’s XIII on one occasion (2016) and played three Tests for Italy (2013).
