Knights prop Daniel Saifiti was cited for a shoulder charge in Round 19.

Newcastle players Sione Mata'utia, Daniel Saifiti and Jake Mamo have all attracted the attention of the NRL match review committee, three of four players cited from the two Sunday fixtures in Round 19 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

While Mata'utia is set to narrowly miss suspension with an early guilty plea for his grade one careless high tackle, Saifiti (grade one shoulder charge) and Mamo (grade two dangerous contact – head/neck) look set to miss at least one week through suspension, with an early guilty plea resulting in a one-match ban for both players. If they were to unsuccessfully challenge at the judiciary, the pair would both sit out two weeks.

Panthers prop Leilani Latu (tripping) was the only player charged in his side's win over the Eels at Pepper Stadium, with the front-rower to avoid suspension for an incident in the 60th minute involving Clint Gutherson with an early guilty plea.
