The Knights came out of the halftime break and blew the Bulldogs away in their Round 10 clash at Hunter Stadium. It was only 12-8 to the Knights at halftime, but as soon as the second half kicked off they began carving up the opposition.

The Knights outscored their rivals 32-0 in the second half, winning 44-8. Knights fullback Darius Boyd was on fire after the interval, grubber-kicking perfectly for a James McManus try in the 46th minute and then supporting halfback Tyrone Roberts to score himself, five minutes later.

Winger Kevin Naiqama registered a try-scoring double for the Knights, while their hooker, Kurt Gidley, scored 16 points from a try and six goals.

The Bulldogs lost impact forward Tony Williams to an ankle injury after only 15 minutes, but they had no excuses for the size of the defeat.
