Penrith said goodbye to their home fans last season with a 36-22 win over the Titans at Centrebet Stadium in Round 25.

A Brad Tighe hat-trick, 212 running metres from winger Josh Mansour and a fine display from halfback Luke Walsh orchestrated the win which all but ended the Titans' 2012 finals hopes.

The Titans might have dominated possession (53-47 per cent) but it was the Panthers who owned the field position, running for 1581 metres compared to the Titans’ 1405. The dominance was down to Penrith’s outside backs – their forwards actually ran for just 696 metres, compared with the Gold Coast’s 853 metres. Work that out!

The Panthers showed much more flair in attack (200 passes) that resulted in three tries to Tighe, two tries to departing centre Jennings and a four-pointer to Mansour.
