The Sea Eagles have unveiled a new range of jersey sponsors at the club's official 70th year anniversary celebrations at Freshwater Surf Lifesaving club, at which the new-look coaching staff also addressed media and dignitaries.
Manly's new major front of jersey sponsor is CoCo Joy, who provide a range of coconut based products including coconut water, and have upgraded their previous deal in a new three-year arrangement.
The club also announced new sponsor ZTE along with existing jersey sponsors Daikin, Kyocera, URM and ISC, while 2015 major jersey sponsors Kaspersky are no longer featured, in what the club said was the most lucrative jersey in Sea Eagles history.
New head coach Trent Barrett took the stage along with assistant coaches John Cartwright and Anthony Siebold, and head of physical performance Dan Ferris, while club legend Ken Arthurson also addressed the crowd and tipped the new-look Sea Eagles as possible 2016 premiers.
New recruits Nate Myles, Darcy Lussick and Matt Parcell were also presented along with existing stars Daly Cherry-Evans, Jamie Lyon and Jake Trbojevic.
Club CEO Joe Kelly also announced a 2016 trial match against Parcell's former club, the Ipswich Jets, to be played at Pittwater Park.
Sea Eagles Chairman Scott Penn said November 4 would always be a significant date for the Club.
"Today is a very proud milestone for this great club," Penn said.
"To be widely recognised as one of the most successful and iconic rugby league clubs in the greatest game of all is testament to the people who came before us, and to those who are now representing the Sea Eagles brand, both on and off the field."
Kelly said that the future is looking bright for the Sea Eagles.
"The club is on the eve of an incredibly exciting new area. Today, while recognising our wonderful history, we have unveiled two new major partners and announced record membership numbers. This is a clear show of support for the direction the club is heading in," Kelly said.
"On the field, there’s a real sense of optimism with Trent leading a new look coaching staff and strong playing roster that will see the Sea Eagles very competitive next season."
