New Dragons signing Mose Masoe hard at work during the 2016 pre-season.

St George Illawarra Dragons prop Mose Masoe has undergone knee surgery and will commence his rehabilitation immediately.

The Toa Samoa international underwent arthroscopy surgery to remove a 'cyclops lesion' (otherwise known as localised anterior arthrofibrosis) within his right knee.

Masoe's recovery period is presently indefinite due to previous recent surgical history on his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL).

The prop originally suffered an ACL injury in his right knee midway through the previous pre-season which has since kept him sidelined and unable to debut for the club.

During this recovery period the forward had to undergo several surgeries due to unforeseen complications with this most recent operation intended to restore a range of motion in his knee.
