Tepai Moeroa at the 2017 Downer NRL Auckland Nines jersey launch.

Tepai Moeroa has signed a two-year extension with the Eels keeping him at the club until the end of the 2019 season.

Moeroa first signed with Parramatta as a 14-year-old in 2010, and has become one of the most versatile forwards in the game.

In announcing Moeroa's re-signing for the next two seasons, Eels coach Brad Arthur said he was pleased the club has retained one of its juniors who has developed into a dominant forward.

"Tepai is a gifted athlete and a consistent performer who adds a great deal of power to our forward pack" Arthur said.

"I'm looking forward to seeing him take his performance to the next level this season."
