They may have just played together for Australia, but the Morris twins have had to work hard to impress their mum on the field.
The St George Illawarra Dragons have released New South Wales and Australian winger Brett Morris from the remaining year of his contract so he can link up with his brother, Josh, at the Bulldogs in 2015.

The Kiama Knights junior will commence pre-season with the Bulldogs in late November after signing with the club for the next four years, tying him up there until 2018.

Bulldogs CEO Raelene Castle was excited to see the brothers reunited for the first time in the NRL since 2008.

"It's a significant signing for the club," Castle said.

"To be able to get a player of Brett's calibre and profile is exciting. We look forward to him joining the squad in preparation for the 2015 season."

Morris expressed how grateful he was for Red V fans supporting him throughout his career but expressed his desire to play club footy with his brother again.

"I think most people know how much I enjoy playing rugby league with Josh," Morris told Dragons.com.au.

"We played our whole career together as juniors and growing up through the system we always thought we would play together our entire career.

"Obviously with the years apart, the desire to play alongside him week in and week out has grown bigger.

"I tried many times to try and get Josh over to the Dragons but things never worked out that way and I suppose when we missed out on picking up Josh I sort of knew this day was probably going to happen."

Morris leaves the club with 169 games for the Red V, scoring 112 tries and having won 2010 NRL Premiership as well as cementing a place in New South Wales and Australian teams.
