The Storm's backline is beginning to fire just before the NRL finals with Cameron Munster and Suliasi Vunivalu leading the charge.
The fullback and winger were instrumental in the Storm's 38-18 win over Manly last Saturday night, as Vunivalu ran in for four first half tries, with two of those courtesy of Munster's fantastic passes.
Vunivalu's amazing try scoring ability is a sight Storm fans are getting used to, and Munster says his teammate is doing rare things on the football field this season.
"He's one of the freaks of rugby league," Munster said of Vunivalu.
"Not many people can score and find the try line like he can, he's got the Fijian blood in him and they can find a way to the try line, and they're very athletic. We're really lucky to have him and Marika on both wings who are very fast and agile, so we're really very lucky there."
Vunivalu has quickly become a fan favourite and an integral part of the Storm's offense, and while the 20-year-old is best known for scoring tries, he's just happy to be doing he's bit for the team.
"It's not individual, it's on the back of the boys. Cameron Munster's passes are from us training during the week so we executed well on the weekend," Vunivalu said.
"I'm proud of all the tries, I came in and only thought I'd play a couple of games, so getting those tries is a bonus."
The pair are helping their side hit form at the right time of the season, although matches against the Broncos and Sharks will provide a tough test.
"With finals in two weeks there's no better time to play against two teams in the top eight to try and get us sorted for the finals," Munster said.
We've got two hard teams coming up and the Broncos are going to be tough this week back in form, they've won the last three games so we'll see how we go."
With the Raiders and Broncos hitting strong form heading into this season's finals campaign, Munster knows that it's important for the Storm to have big performances over the next fortnight.
"Obviously form and confidence is a big thing in rugby league and if we can keep the consistency in our defence and our attack in the next couple of weeks I think it'll put us in good stead," Munster said.
