The Ready of the Round panel of Brad Fittler, Adrian Lam and Renee Gartner discuss the big issues of the week - Kangaroos team selection and the Wests Tigers' player recruitment.

Adrian Lam has backed Australia coach Mal Meninga's selections, saying that showing loyalty to the players who won the 2016 Four Nations is the right way to go.

"Because it's a short week with only two training sessions, I think he's got to go with what he knows," Lam says.

In contrast, Brad Fittler says the Kangaroos selections have "Failed it" as he disagrees with some of the positional selections, especially in the front row.

"I love Mal's loyalty – the way Mal has come through rep teams, that's the way they were always treated," Fittler says.

"I just feel there are players in there who don't play in those positions on a weekly basis, and they are going into the game with one front rower."

The panel then discuss the Wests Tigers' recruitment, with Josh Reynolds and Ben Matulino set to join in 2018 and the likes of Mitchell Moses, James Tedesco and Aaron Woods reportedly set to depart.

Find out if Freddy and Lammy think the Wests Tigers have Nailed it or Failed it.
