Sea Eagles to host international Navy game

An international Navy rugby league game will be played at 4 Pines Park tonight as the curtain raiser to the sold out ANZAC Round clash between the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and the Parramatta Eels.

The Royal Australian Navy Tridents take on the Royal Navy Brothers (UK) from 5.45pm. Click here to watch livestream coverage of the match from 5.30pm.

Marni Edmonds from the Royal Australian Navy Band Sydney will perform the anthem from 5.40pm.

This will be the eighth time the two sides have met since the first meeting in 2002, with the Royal Navy Brothers holding a 4-3 lead.

The match promises to deliver an evening of intense competition and camaraderie, showcasing the best of military sportsmanship on the rugby league field.

The Tridents team will be aiming to secure a decisive victory on home turf. The Royal Navy team will undoubtedly bring their A-game, eager to demonstrate their prowess in this challenging away fixture.

Both teams suffered two point defeats in their respective warm up games with the Tridents losing to NSW Fire and Rescue service with the Brothers going down to the Coogee Dolphins.
