Canberra Raiders second rower, Joel Thompson, has been called up as 18th man for the VB Gold Country Origin team.

The Forbes Magpies junior, will join the team immediately as they prepare for the annual AAMI Country v City Origin clash to be held this Friday night in Port Macquarie.
