Canberra Raiders: Indigenous Health Day & Guinness Book of Records attempt: 3 Legged Race.

Wednesday, 13 August 

Panthers Cert IV fitness students  will use the Close the Gap Round to run a free boot camp at Sportingbet Stadium  with participants including children and adults from the Aboriginal Medical Services.

Thursday, 14 August
NRL Staff Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Brief / Morning Tea.

South Sydney Rabbitohs v Brisbane Broncos
Showcasing KARI (Match Day Sponsor) and their work in supporting Indigenous Foster Families and participants from the Rabbitohs Indigenous School to Work Transition Program and new Indigenous Employment Program
Rabbitohs to change to Indigenous inspired strip
Major sponsors the Crown have donated front of jersey logo to KARI

Friday, 15 August

 Parramatta Eels v Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
A Welcome to Country by Uncle Harry
A welcome dance performed by Indigenous Dance Troupe 
Close the Gap team involved in the precinct having fans sign the pledge
The Australian Rugby League Indigenous Council will meet and host a Close The Gap Function  
The official Launch of NRL Reconciliation Action Plan
Saturday, 16 August

Wests Tigers v Sydney Roosters
Wests Tigers to host Nations of Origin winners match (boys & girls) prior the match
Indigenous Dancers  and cultural music as pre game entertainment
School to Work students + KARI students to form the guard of honour teams 
Ball run on by young Indigenous representative in traditional dress
One off painted jersey auction – funds to ‘Get BLACK on your feet’ + Roar for a Cause

Canberra Raiders v St George Illawarra Dragons
Volunteers to ask patrons to Sign the Close the Gap Pledge
Raider to wear specific jersey designed by Elle Binge for game
Acknowledgement of Country prior to kick-off which the Raiders also do at every event 
Elle Binge to be thanked for the artwork for the jersey
Indigenous player involvement in the community leading into the game
Playing card featuring Jack Wighton
Melbourne Storm v Cronulla Sharks
Pre-game Indigenous ceremony, Welcome to Country and smoking
Specially Designed Team jersey

Monday, 18 August

Penrith Panthers v North Queensland Cowboys
Indigenous Dance Troupe to perform at halftime
Local Official  Welcome to Country to be performed by Maxine Conaty
North Queensland Welcome to Country to be performed by Jeremy Donavan
Panthers Indigenous Program Guard of Honour wearing Caps hand painted by Indigenous artist Darren Dun
School to Work participants collecting Close the Gap pledge
North Queensland Cowboys will wear a specially designed jersey
Panthers to wear specially designed jersey
Jamie Soward and James Segeyaro will have special Indigenous-themed boots

Round 24: Cronulla Sharks v Canberra Raiders
As the Sharks do not have a home game during Round 23, they will be doing the following during Round 24:
KARI Aboriginal Resources & front of jersey sponsor/ game day community partners
Welcome to country followed by a Didgeridoo & dance performance
KARI foster care kids to run out with the players
KARI will be collecting money for their foster care programs
Kurranulla (local Indigenous resource centre) to be handing out information show bags to fans upon arrival into the stadium
