NRL Fantasy winners & losers: Round 14

A new keeper arrives at the Panthers and (most of) the usual suspects hit their straps in a high-scoring weekend of Fantasy footy. Here are the success stories, flops and talking points to come out of this week's NRL Fantasy action.

Winners

Penrith Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards has made a rapid transition from cash cow to keeper, smashing out an 84 in his team's very late comeback win over the Raiders on Saturday. The tackle-busting custodian has already made a lot of cash but is still good value for a keeper WFB if you're in the market for one.

Roosters duo Aidan Guerra and Connor Watson were a couple of surprise big scorers this week with 81 and 74 respectively, while usual suspects Sam Burgess (74), Shaun Johnson (72), Cameron Smith (70), Cameron McInnes (70), Jack de Belin (70), Angus Crichton (69) and the returning Johnathan Thurston (69) were all superb.

Jordan Rapana remains the best winger/fullback of the year, carving out another 66 points this week, while Felise Kaufusi (64), Mitchell Pearce (64), Latrell Mitchell (64), Mitch Barnett (62), Paul Gallen (61), Bodene Thompson (61) and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (61) all cashed in on a high-scoring round of Fantasy.

Losers

Roosters hooker Jake Friend took the field, made a few tackles, made an error and missed a tackle and then went off with concussion – finishing with an even zero Fantasy points. As he took the field he didn't get his score replaced by an auto emergency for those unlucky coaches who had him, but on the bright side he did score one more than Panthers forward Viliame Kikau (-1 in 10 minutes).

New Raiders cheapie Royce Hunt was given very little game time off the bench for 1 point, proving that non-playing reserves might just be handy in Fantasy as bench forwards these days, while there were below-par scores from Eels winger Semi Radradra (12), Roosters utility Mitchell Aubusson (15), Sharks rake Jayden Brailey (16), Rabbitohs hooker Robbie Farah (16), Broncos duo Kodi Nikorima and James Roberts (both 17) and Manly backs Brian Kelly (18) and Tom Trbojevic (20).
