The NRL said today that Sydney Roosters official, Peter O'Sullivan has been issued with a Notice of Intention to Cancel his Registration. 

The spokesman said the proposal to cancel his registration related to alleged breaches of the NRL Rules. 

Mr O'Sullivan has been given the opportunity to respond to the Notice and the NRL will make no further comment at this time.

Roosters media statement:

Sydney Roosters CEO, Mr John Lee, confirmed that a Club employee is suspended. This is following the receipt of a notice from the NRL.

Mr Lee indicated that the employee will be afforded procedural fairness while this matter is being dealt with. He also stated that the matter is subject to an appeal process.

The Club will be making no further comment at this time.
