BRUTUS loves the big stage. It brings out the best in him and his beloved Bulldogs. His imposing presence is magnified by his slow and deliberate swagger carried out with the express purpose of marking out his territory. Those who underestimate his speed and strike power do so at their own risk.
Armed with the most powerful fend in the game, BRUTUS' massive forearms and amazing upper body strength allow him to bench press up to 300 kilos in his sleep, which coincidentally is one of his favourite pastimes.
He seldom speaks, but when he does the resonance of his baritone has been known to knock the kicking-tee out of the unsuspecting hands of a ball boy 50 metres away. In acknowledgement of every Bulldog try, BRUTUS likes to flex his massive forelimbs three times in an understated and cool celebration.
To relax, BRUTUS enjoys grabbing a fishing rod and heading off to the Cooks River to hook a few, in between a quick dog-doze and listening to some of his favourite tunes.
Don't be fooled by his gruff exterior, though Brutus is very much a family Dog, when you do become a friend, you become part of his family.
