NRL Telstra Premiership 2009

Eels

ERIC is a master of illusion for 'the eel is quicker than the eye' and depending on how he flexes and coils his long, well toned body, he can give the impression that there's three of him instead of one, fooling defenders into believing they’re facing an overlap out wide.

As the only Mascot who can literally use his whole body to wrap up possession, his ball security is considered the best in the League and his amazing peripheral vision allows him to read a game better than anyone. And for elusiveness no one else comes close - ERIC has great anticipation and can sight and slip through a gap that most others wouldn't even dream of attempting.

His movements are swift and sneaky and designed to cause mass confusion in the opposition. Without a doubt, he is the power source behind the Parramatta Eels and inspires them with his own displays of skill and stamina, for any foray from this moray charges up both players and fans alike.

Parramatta Park is ERIC'S favourite hangout, where he likes to organise a quick game of touch, test out the slippery dips or just practice his swerve.
