NRL Telstra Premiership 2009

Storm

With a voice like thunder and the ability to hurl lightning bolts with ease, BOOM loves to make an entrance. His presence is preceded by gale force winds, rain and lightning. There's a majestic aura about BOOM, but don't be fooled, for behind this 'cold front' lies a warm interior and you'll more often than not find him out and about the city streets surrounded by the ever growing number of Melbourne Storm fans.

BOOM sees himself as a true innovator, dealing creatively with powerful elements that only he has the power to tame. Each Melbourne Storm try is honoured with a flash of lightning hitting the exact spot where the ball was grounded. With his amazing talents,

BOOM is able to orchestrate complex manoeuvres, such as his signature move - a triple pump, dummy, spiral cut out ball worked into a simple run-a-round movement.

BOOM spends all his spare time fine tuning his skills around the city streets of Melbourne, where he'll be found bursting clouds, cracking thunder and hurling lightning in between keeping his 'game' eye in on Oblivion Knight and Revenger 681.

Though he is firm friends with all the other mascots, he secretly admits to getting a kick out of raining on their parades.
