Luke O'Donnell will miss three matches if he accepts a guilty plea for a dangerous throw.
Roosters forward Luke O’Donnell is facing up to a five-match ban after being charged with a Grade 3 Dangerous Throw by the NRL Match Review Committee.
O’Donnell was cited for an incident involving Wests Tigers Tim Simona in the 34th minute of the Roosters’ 56-14 win at Allianz Stadium on Monday night.
The Roosters’ forward will miss three matches with an early guilty plea - but risks missing five matches if he fights the charge at the NRL judiciary and loses.
An early guilty plea would mean O’Donnell would not play again until Week One of the NRL Telstra Premiership Finals.
The Roosters have until midday on Wednesday to enter a plea.
