Titans youngster John Olive has returned to the club after suffering a serious shoulder injury at Junior Kangaroos training.

Titans outside back John Olive has returned to the club from Junior Kangaroos camp after suffering a serious shoulder injury at training.

The 19-year-old is set to be sidelined for an extended period after fracturing his collarbone, and will have further scans on the Gold Coast on Friday.

"It's pretty disappointing obviously, I was looking forward to wearing the green and gold jersey but injuries are part of the game so I just have to work hard as I can to get back," Olive said.

Gold Coast's Brian Kelly will replace Olive in the starting side, while Sydney Roosters' Nat Butcher has been added to the squad.
