Limited tickets remain available for Game III of the 2013 Holden State of Origin Series but fans are urged to secure their seats now for the decider at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on July 17.

The rush for tickets over the past 24 hours comes after a combined metropolitan and regional audience of 3.762 million last night watched Queensland defeat NSW 26-6 at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on the Nine, WIN and NBN networks.

It was the second highest rating Game II in Origin history (based on overnight data) since the inception of OzTAM in 2001 – just 152,000 viewers short of the record set last year (2.498 million).

The game peaked at 2.719 million viewers and was the No.1 program across the Five-City Metro, along the East Coast, in Sydney and Brisbane for Total People.

In the Regional markets Origin II averaged 1.416 million viewers, peaking at 1.755 million.

Nine’s Holden State of Origin pre-match show averaged 1.819 million viewers and peaked at 2.616 million across the Five-City Metro market.

In regional areas the pre-match show averaged 950,887 viewers and peaked at 1.475 million.

An average of 1.007 million viewers watched the game in Sydney on Channel Nine,with a peak of 1.134 million.

It was the No.1 program of the night, with the pre-match show second and post-match show third in Total People.

In Brisbane, where the game recorded the third highest Origin II ratings, there was an average audience of 813,471, peaking at 883,539.

The match was up 4.3 per cent on Origin I.

In Melbourne, the game had an average audience of 347,675 for Total People.

It was the second highest rating Game II for Melbourne and the fourth highest rating Origin game overall, peaking at 446,880 viewers.

In Adelaide, the game averaged 65,787viewers and peaked at 98,094.

In Perth, an average audience of 111,307 watched the game live on GEM – up 74.6 per cent on Origin I – making it the best rating Game II and the second highest State of Origin match ever in WA.The audience peaked at 152,156.
