Trent Merrin has been suspended for one match following Origin II.

Queensland Origin legend Kevin Walters says he expects a clean rap sheet for both the Maroons and the Blues in State of Origin III.

Games one and two were marred by incidents involving NSW stars Paul Gallen and Trent Merrin and Queensland fullback Billy Slater.

"There's always a lot of emotion in these sorts of games but I don't think it'll come to punches," Walters told the gang.
