What was your favourite State of Origin moment? Vote in NRL.com's Origin Knockout.

The Holden State of Origin series is with us again for another year, and we at NRL.com are celebrating by asking fans to vote on their favourite Origin moment.

Today, a Blues win in an historic encounter goes up against one of the great individual efforts from an Origin forward.

First game at MCG

An Australian record crowd of 87,161 attends first Origin match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. NSW coach Phil Gould's plan to keep things tight paid off handsomely for the Blues, and while it wasn't the free-flowing spectacle the Victorian crowd may have wanted the game did go the way of NSW 16-0, with Paul Harragon the man of the match.

Gallen's 80-minute performance

Staring down a sixth straight series defeat after a hard fought 16-12 loss in Game One at Suncorp, Blues coach Ricky Stuart called on captain Paul Gallen to literally lead from the front, shifting his skipper into the front row in order to stack the NSW pack with mobile back-rowers. Despite having played at prop in just one game before (when the Sharks were thumped 44-12 by the Tigers in 2003), the move proved a master stroke, as Gallen churned out a phenomenal 211 running metres from 27 hit ups, turning in an 80-minute performance that earned a rare 'perfect 10' in Rugby League Week's player ratings, the first time the honour had ever been bestowed on a prop or in an Origin match.
