Broncos captain Corey Parker has come a long way from his early days as a confident teenager at the club.

At almost every NRL game we see players walking into the ground listening to their favourite music so we decided to ask: Which three artists are must-haves on your playlist?

Corey Parker (Broncos)

Anything country to be honest. I'm a big country music fan but if I had to go three I'd go Luke Bryan, Eric Church and Jason Aldean.

Ray Thompson (Cowboys)

Red Hot Chili Peppers. Just love their beat, they have some great songs and I love their story. 'Soul To Squeeze' is my favourite, but I like 'Californication' as well -- that's one that I have in the gym, that's my playlist one. I've always been a fan of Kanye West – old school Kanye West – not so much the new stuff. And if I was to choose one more, I'd go with Jack Johnson. This isn't gym tunes, this is just a good mix, just chill out.

Dane Gagai (Knights)

Kendrick Lamar, 2Pac and Usher.

Dylan Napa (Roosters)

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eminem and Future. I think the Chili Peppers play the sort of music you can play in any situation. It doesn't matter if you're at a wedding, a funeral or whatever, they've got a tune for it. I was one of those kids who wanted to dye my hair blonde to look like Eminem, but Mum wouldn't let me do it.

Sam Thaiday (Broncos)

I work for Nova here in Brisbane and they play majority pop stuff but I'm a country music fan actually. I like Darius Rucker – a lot of the boys didn't even realise he was Hootie from Hootie and the Blowfish – and I'd definitely have a bit of Bruce Springsteen and there's a hip-hop artist called J. Cole who has got some pretty good songs and there are some pretty good stories behind his songs.

Josh Chudleigh (Cowboys)

I'd definitely have Drake, and I like Twenty One Pilots at the moment. Fetty Wap is probably the other, his voice actually changes all the time, from song to song. Sounds like he's struggling to speak. Twenty One Pilots is a bit different, pretty casual, nice and relaxing. And I guess with Drake one song stands out for me – 'One Dance'. All the other boys have played it and it's just stuck into my mind now.

David Gower (Eels)

Backstreet Boys, because I've got that boy band look with great hair and great dance moves. I'll have to say 'Barnesy' (Jimmy Barnes) because of his croaky voice and he's an old Aussie battler, which probably sums me up. Finally, I'll go Shannon Noll. Who doesn't love Nollsy?

Josh McGuire (Broncos)

I love my country so my first pick would be a fella named Sam Hunt. Darius Rucker would also be on there. I'll change it up with my third pick... I don't mind Drake at the moment. Need to have something a bit different on there!

Justin O'Neill (Cowboys)

Avicii, Ty Dolla Sign and 2Pac.
