Police have released images of 13 people who may be able to assist with inquiries following an incident at a football match at Sydney Olympic Park earlier this month.
A number of projectiles were thrown by the crowd as NRL officials left the field at the conclusion of a game on Good Friday (3 April 2015), at ANZ Stadium.
Detectives from Flemington Local Area Command are continuing their investigation into the incident.
As part of the investigation, police have released images of 13 people, who can assist investigators in relation to the throwing of projectiles onto the field of play from the eastern side of the stadium.
Anyone with information about the incident or the identity of those depicted in the images is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Under the Sydney Olympic Park Authority Act 2001, it is an offence to throw a missile onto the field of play. It carries a $150 fine and possible bans from the precinct.
Investigators are committed to identifying and taking action against crowd members who display dangerous and illegal behaviour.
NSW Police Force works closely with the NRL to ensure these games are fun and enjoyable for the whole family and will not tolerate a disregard for other people’s safety.
The NRL, the Canterbury Bulldogs and ANZ Stadium have been assisting the investigation and may take action against individuals responsible for the alleged post-match behaviour.
Inquiries are continuing into the alleged behaviour on the western side of the stadium above the tunnel, where officials were targeted with projectiles.
Anyone who has photos or video recording from the stadium on Good Friday is urged to contact police – especially if they were seated near the tunnel on the western side of the stadium.

Any behaviour that risks the safety of other fans will not be tolerated by police, the NRL or individual clubs, and expect decent good-natured fans would feel the same way.
Police warn the behaviour displayed by a small group of hooligans has the potential to spoil the game and the sport for everyone else.
Anyone who has information that will help detectives to identify those responsible for throwing projectiles at officials should contact police immediately.
